La Stratgie ontarienne de recrutement et dertention du personnel enseignant de langue franaise est une stratgie mise en place afin de limiterles effets de cette crise et 37 recommandations ont t formules afin dliminer ce flau qui drangelefficacit du systme dducation de langue franaise en Ontario. En collaboration avec le ministrede lducation, lACPO participe pleinement au comit de mise en uvre de la Stratgie ontarienneet dirige le groupe sur le sondage de sortie du personnel enseignant. Ce sondage visecomprendreles raisons du dpart prmatur des enseignants etproposer des solutions fondes sur des donnesprobantes pour amliorer la rtention. Les consquences nfastes de la pnurie dpassent le cadre delducation, affectant directement la vitalit et la prennit des communautaires francophones. Ellessoulvent des enjeux dquit, de justice sociale et de respect des droits constitutionnels des lvesfrancophonesrecevoir une ducation de haute qualit dans leur langue. Facecette crise, lACPOreste fermement engagecollaborer avec ses partenaires et les dcideurs pour dvelopper dessolutions durables. ACPOs Action to Support the Retention of Qualified TeachersACPO recognizes that the teacher shortage in Ontario is a structural and systemic issue that haspersisted for 10 years. Ontarios French Teacher Recruitment and Retention Strategy was establishedto mitigate the effects of this crisis, and 37 recommendations have been put forward to eliminate thisongoing challenge that undermines the effectiveness of the French-language education system inOntario. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, ACPO plays an active role on theStrategys Implementation Committee and leads the working group focused on the teacher exitsurvey. This survey aims to better understand the reasons behind teachers premature departures andto propose evidence-based solutions to improve retention. The harmful consequences of the shortageextend beyond the education sector, directly impacting the vitality and sustainability of Francophonecommunities. This issue raises serious concerns related to equity, social justice, and the constitutionalrights of Francophone students to receive high-quality education in their language. In the face of thiscrisis, ACPO remains strongly committed to working with its partners and policymakers to developsustainable solutions. 0444'
