b'Appointment of ourExecutive DirectorWe are pleased to introduce Janet Stewart, our newly appointedExecutive Director. Janet began in the role in June 2025 and had aproductive three-month transition with the outgoing ExecutiveDirector, Nancy Pynch-Worthylake. Janet comes to the CSBA with many years of experience in the K-12Education sector having worked as a teacher, school administrator,school district leader, and at the provincial level in British Columbia. She is thrilled to now work with a view to alignment and collaboration at the National level. Sheconsiders herself a cross-Canadian, having lived and travelled throughout Canada. The Frenchthat she learned while growing up in Quebec and her appreciation of the diversity and richness ofcultures, will support her well as Executive Director.Janets professional areas of expertise include human resources, labour relations, negotiation, andmediation. She is a professional certified coach with the International Coaching Federation and is aqualified mediator with ADR Canada. She continues to support organizations, teaches on relatedtopics with the Queens University Industrial Relations Centre, and is a Mentor Coach with the UBCOrganizational Coaching program.
