Over this reporting period, ASBA hasexpanded services and increased advocacy efforts in support of members, in alignment withStrategic Plan priorities. Additionally, the association has continued to position itself as aninfluential entity for government decision-making, impactful in the education system andcollaborative with our diverse membership. ASBA was pleased to participate on, and contributeto, the work of the Indigenous Education Committee and Finance Committee, Governance WorkTeam, Comprehensive School Health Work Team, Pollack Report ad hoc Work Team and the adhoc Committee on Policy 1.4 Congress and the National Trustees Gathering on IndigenousEducation. 2024-2025 Board of Directors and CommitteesASBAs Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from Zones, Metro Boards and theFrancophone Regional Authorities. Directors are ambassadors for ASBA, trusteeship and publiceducation which is governed by member school boards. They participate on ASBA committees,represent all zone, metro or francophone board issues and provide input to the Board.
