The Pollock Report Ad Hoc Committee reviewed the report recommendations and endorsed theidea of differentiating operationalization of recommendations between national recommendationsto be achieved by CSBA and recommendations that fall within the scope of member associations.Of the 24 suggestions, six are directly related to advocating for democracy, three focus on how toinvolve families more, three on professional development, and three on communications. Someactions are specific to the provinces and territories, while many are for both CSBA and the memberassociations. The committee noted that the recommendations overlap with the work of the IndigenousEducation Committee and the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism Work Team. The currentCSBA strategic plan actions related to the Pollock Report have been attained, and new goals, actions and measures are recommended for inclusion in the next strategic plan.
