b'A national school food program is a priority for school boards throughout the country. The CSBAis working with three federal ministries as well as with the Canadian Coalition for Healthy SchoolFood. We are very pleased with the recent approval of funding for a national school foodprogram. The CSBA will continue to advocate and support the implementation to ensure theprogram is effective and efficient. You may notice fewer committee and working group reports in the Annual Report this year. TheBoard of Directors reviewed the terms of reference for these groups, and in some cases made thedecision to pause the meetings, dissolve, or transfer the work to the board. We continue toexamine how we can make the most impact for our members and the education systems inCanada. I am grateful for the many discussions weve had at these meetings, and with the board,and look forward to more. The work of the CSBA would not be possible without the dedication, passion, and commitment ofour members.
