b"Message from ACPOs President I would like to express my pride in the achievements of our Board of Directors and operational team over the past year. From the ratification of all collective bargaining negotiations, to the implementation of targeted and effective political action, to training for our school trustees, ACPO played a crucial role in Ontario's educational landscape. However, working in a minority context is a constant challenge. Victory is never assured when it comes to persuading our political decision-makers to make decisions adapted to school boards managing territories larger than Belgium, while facing unprecedented staff shortages. Yet this is the daily reality of French-language school boards. Despite these daunting challenges, it's remarkable that students in French public school boards are the top performers in EQAO's standardized provincial tests in 2022-2023. We are so proud of our students, our staff, our school boards and our education system as a whole. These results motivate us to continue our mission of education and advocacy. We aspire to maintain our commitment to the best education in Ontario. To achieve this, it's imperative that the governing class understands what makes us unique and can integrate it into their decision-making processes - in early childhood, in K-12 education, and ultimately in post-secondary education. This different perspective will enable them to propose innovative systemic solutions that can even be adapted to the majority population. I conclude this message by extending my congratulations to all French-language public school boards for their outstanding performance in the provincial tests. Thank you for the exemplary leadership you demonstrate on a daily basis, and for your determination to help our students reach their full potential."
