b'GOVERNANCE WORK TEAMREPORTModeling effective governance continues to be a priority for the CSBA. Under the leadership of Chair Carolyn Broady, and with the support of Contractor Judy White, the Governance Work Teams met regularly. Therevised constitution was approved at the AGM in November 2020. All policies were reviewed to align with the revised constitution and can be viewed on our website. A new Procurement Policy was approved by the board resulting in up to date and transparent procurement processes. This policy highlights the boards focus on equity and preference for working with providers who are diverse and inclusive. Responding to the ongoing need to meet online, the Governance Work Team developed, and the boardapproved, a new Online/Electronic Meeting Policy and Procedures. These will help ensure that online meetings are effective, efficient and secure. The Governance Work Team embraced the anti-racism policy audit that was directed by the Anti-Racism Work Team and looks forward to all policies being revised to enhance anti-racist and socially just structures, policies and procedures. The Work Team drafted, and the board approved, Terms of Reference for all Work Teams and Committees. This represents a major step in ensuring consistency and productivity in moving forward the key priorities of the association. We encourage everyone to visit the CSBA website to view the documents the Governance Work Team has prepared. Carolyn BroadyChair, Governance Work Team20'
