The CSBA 2026 Trustee Gathering on Education, Innovation and Reconciliation brings together school trustees,
education leaders and Indigenous rights holders and knowledge keepers from across Canada on the traditional
territories of the Lil̓wat7úl (Lil’Wat) and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) First Nations.
This gathering is committed to supporting boards of education in their governance work through sessions on:

– Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
– Student Success
– Leadership
– Emerging issues: AI and Climate Change
We’ll explore how strong, inclusive governance can transform systems, deepen relationships, and create
equitable opportunities for every learner.
