Alan Campbell

Alan started in his role as the Executive Director of MSBA in August 2026, having served as the association’s Director of Advocacy and Public Affairs prior.  First elected as a school board trustee in Interlake School Division in 2010, he is also a Past President of MSBA (2018-2023 and 2025-2026) and a Past President of CSBA from 2022 to 2026. Autonomy for locally elected school boards, a vital role for Truth and Reconciliation in public schools and the wellness and safety of all Canadian students have been foundational to Alan’s advocacy and leadership roles. 

Professionally, Alan’s career has been spent in both the private and public sectors with two of Canada’s largest trucking companies; KAG Canada and Bison Transport and two Manitoba school divisions; Lord Selkirk SD and Pembina Trails SD.

Alan and his wife, Alycia, have two children who are both attending public school in Manitoba.
