National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Each year, September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.

On National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we encourage all school trustees, educators, and community leaders to reflect on the importance of advancing reconciliation in schools. Let’s honour the truth and work toward equitable education for Indigenous people.
