Campbell is a seasoned school trustee who brings significant experience to his role as President of the Manitoba School Boards Association.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elected as MSBA President in November 2018 and re-elected in March 2025, he previously served as Vice-President from 2016 to 2018 and as Past President from 2023 to 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to his responsibilities leading MSBA\u2019s Provincial Executive Committee, Mr. Campbell also serves as a trustee for the Interlake School Division. First elected as a trustee in 2010, Mr. Campbell served nine years as chairperson of the Interlake School Board from 2013 to 2018 and from 2020 to 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alan est convaincu que nos communaut\u00e9s b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient de la possibilit\u00e9 de s'exprimer et de faire des choix au niveau local en \u00e9lisant des conseils scolaires locaux. She previously served as a Director and Vice President of the Alberta School Boards Association before stepping into her new role as President. With a professional background in airport operations and fleet management, she brings substantial operational and leadership experience to the position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having chaired ASBA\u2019s Advocacy Committee for the past four years, Shali is keen to learn and collaborate with the CSBA to help build on their national advocacy initiatives. She is very much looking forward to her role as President of ASBA and contributing at the national level with CSBA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 27%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Dr. Vivian Abboud, CEO<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu une licence et une ma\u00eetrise en \u00e9ducation, avec un accent sur le leadership et le bilinguisme, le Dr Vivian Abboud, qui est multilingue, a suivi plusieurs programmes de d\u00e9veloppement et de gestion des cadres sup\u00e9rieurs et des dirigeants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She completed her doctorate in educational policy and governance at Simon Fraser University. At the beginning of her career, Dr. Abboud taught for seven years at the Edmonton Public School Board. During this time, she facilitated workshops; contributed to the development of a math resource; and, received her principal-ship training. As the Senior Director of Social Branch at the Assembly of First Nations (AFN), her primary focus is working in partnership with governments and First Nations communities to help develop culturally and linguistically-relevant education, health, culture, housing and family services that promote the well-being of First Nations communities in Canada. Renee is an educator by trade and holds both a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education from&nbsp;the University of Ottawa. Depuis 21 ans, il a l'honneur d'\u00eatre \u00e9lu conseiller scolaire au CSPNE et depuis 20 ans, \u00e9lu annuellement par ses pairs \u00e0 titre de Pr\u00e9sident au CSPNE. De plus, Denis est \u00e9lu Pr\u00e9sident de l'AC\u00c9PO de 2013 \u00e0 2017, et de nouveau en 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9ducation en fran\u00e7ais est sa passion et il est un \u00e9ternel \u00e9tudiant. Il a obtenu un baccalaur\u00e9at en sciences sociales (B.Sc.Soc.1978 \u2013 U. Ottawa), une ma\u00eetrise en administration des affaires (M.B.A 2000 &#8211; U. Ottawa), un Doctorat en administration de la sant\u00e9 (D.H.A. 2012- U. Phoenix) et Juris Doctor (J.D. 2019 &#8211; U. Depuis son arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 l'AC\u00c9PO, Isabelle Girard s'est particuli\u00e8rement concentr\u00e9e sur le d\u00e9veloppement des relations gouvernementales avec l'Association et sur le bon d\u00e9roulement de la deuxi\u00e8me ronde de n\u00e9gociations des conventions collectives centrales 2019-2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isabelle Girard est titulaire d'un baccalaur\u00e9at en traduction et d'un MBA. He also continued his education by completing a 2nd Masters in Education with a concentration in Information and Communication Technology at Memorial University in St. John\u2019s, NL. As Executive Director of CSAP, he seeks to position the CSAP as a national leader in educational innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2019, as Director of Educational and Student Services at CSAP, Mr. Collette has successfully led the merger of educational and student services to further focus resources on developing a structure that meets the needs of all students. He is responsible for the development and implementation of French first language curricula and associated teaching resources. He has played an integral role in positioning the CSAP in the transition to a 21st century pedagogy, including technology integration, universal access to technology, and support sites for CSAP staff and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his career within CSAP, Michel Collette has held a number of leadership roles, including vice-principal and principal, and educational program coordinator, in addition to many years of experience as a teacher. His educational career spans 31 years where he was a teacher, school principal and regional director at Lester B. Pearson School Board. In his last role as Regional Director, where he served for 12 years, he was responsible for the operations of 16 elementary and high schools, chair of the elementary and high school network, and represented the board on various ministerial dossiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Passionn\u00e9 par l'\u00e9ducation et reconnu par ses pairs pour son engagement envers l'\u00e9quit\u00e9, l'accessibilit\u00e9 et la diversit\u00e9 dans le syst\u00e8me public, M. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 enseignant, administrateur, surintendant et directeur de l'\u00e9ducation, ainsi que directeur et sous-ministre adjoint au minist\u00e8re de l'\u00c9ducation de la Saskatchewan. En 2011, il est devenu directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la SSBA. Il a fait des pr\u00e9sentations lors de plusieurs conf\u00e9rences sur le leadership et l'\u00e9ducation autochtone.  Il si\u00e8ge aux conseils d'administration de C-21 Canada, de l'Association canadienne de l'\u00e9ducation, du Comit\u00e9 national de s\u00e9lection d'AINC et de Centraide Regina. Darren est coach et consultant dans les domaines de l'\u00e9ducation, du gouvernement, des peuples autochtones, du changement, du leadership, des relations et des orientations strat\u00e9giques. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est titulaire de certificats en formation et d\u00e9veloppement du leadership, en conversations cruciales, en coaching d'exp\u00e9dition et en inventaire des pratiques de leadership. He has held the position of chair and vice-chair for numerous occasions, and been committee chair on all of YK1&#8217;s committees during his tenure. Previously he was Chair of Education for several years in the Inuit community of Cambridge Bay in Nunavut. He has a strong grounding in working with grassroots education, talking with parents and working with legislative members. Always looking for the common ground where we can all move forward together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terry is an avid life-long learner; a practice he follows every day. Always expanding his background. He studied engineering and economics at the University of British Columbia, and Public Administration at the University of Victoria. He is a semi-retired professional engineer. He has served as chair of his professional association. He also served on the national board of Engineers Canada, and is recognized as a&nbsp;<em>Fellow of Engineers Canada<\/em>. He is also a layperson in the Law Society of the Northwest Territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terry&#8217;s wife is a retired teacher, together they have four children and seven grandchildren.
